The time for Operation Christmas Child shoebox collection is here!  Begin now collecting small toys, gifts, school supplies, gum and candy, and hygiene items for children around the world who have endured poverty, disease and disaster.  We will dedicate our shoebox gifts Sunday, November 15th, in the 8:30 & 11:00 a.m. services.  Please have your boxes to the church on that date.

WBC will be hosting Trunk-or-Treat on October 31st from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Children are invited to come and receive candy treats from the decorated trunks of our vehicles.  It's a fun and safe way for kids to trick-or-treat.  If you're interested in decorating your trunk and/or giving out candy, please fill out this form.  We are also collecting candy from those who want to participate but cannot provide their vehicle.  This is a great way to reach out to our neighborhood children!

Ladies, call your friends and join us for a movie night & pot-luck on Saturday, October 10th, at 5:00 p.m. We will be watching “One Night with the King”, which tells the timeless, inspiring biblical story of Esther, a young girl whose bravery amidst treachery, scandal, and genocide was used in a mighty way by God. Bring a dish/appetizer to share and join us in the Fellowship Hall for a great time together!

We will be presenting the movie "Amazing Grace" Sunday evening, September 27th, at 6:00 p.m.  This is an inspiring movie about William Wilberforce, who with his faith in God, made a commitment to see the end of slavery.  This movie can inspire others to stand and believe that they too can make a difference.  It lasts almost two hours, and is rated PG (preschool and nursery childcare provided).
